The Open Domain network is a project to help transform the way the domain system on the internet works. Please see our mission statement and our brief history of the project.
Our short term goal is to provide a series of free domains for the use of the opensource community on a network of root servers. As many open source users run their own caching DNS servers, adding our root servers to them would be a trivial task. Please see our open domain pages for more details.
